Complete New Heating System Including Solar Tubes |

|
We were asked to design and install a new heating system, including solar tubes for heating the hot water, for a three storey Victorian terrace house in the Golden Triangle area of Norwich. A new Viessmann condensing boiler was fitted. The third floor of the house had previously been converted into a separate flat. This was being re-instated by the current owners and obviously needed to be included in the new heating system. The music room on the ground floor required a special sized radiator as there was literally no conventional space to site it. The rest of the ground floor also needed new radiators. Plumbing was required to the kitchen extension being built as part of the renovation, other bathroom plumbing work was also carried out by R A Brown. As the house was already enveloped by scaffolding for the building work it was the ideal time, at the minimum of installation cost, to fit solar tubes for heating the hot water. The property had no hot water cylinder so again it was ideal to fit a twin coiled cylinder to work in conjunction with the solar tubes.
