I got the builder in who was happy to let me have my say about two or three of the contractors one of them obviously was the type of heating engineer who could talk the language that I wanted to talk, because I didn't really want a bog standard heating engineer or plumber. I wanted someone who was adaptable enough to see what I wanted and put my ideas together to make a system that I was happy with.
The nice thing about Richard was at least I could phone him up and he threw a lot of ideas at me some of which weren't of interest really but some of which I was then able to research for myself and then talk to him about, but eventually he recommended this product (Viessmann 343 Compact Energy Tower) and after reading everything about it I thought it was the product for me.
I think it's important to go back to someone quickly and feel a bit pro-active about it and I did leave a message and he did come back to me.
I think Richard responded to queries quite efficiently, he turned up, he spoke to me on the phone and you know that what they (R A Brown) say is going to happen. Richard was satisfactory to me, he takes care to explain things to people, he will if you're interested in the choice of materials, give you the options... I was the person who said 'give me a reasonable price and then I want an option to say let's have a look individually at all those products before you put them in I want to see them' because you know I'm a bit of a control freak and I want what I want. So I was happy that Richard came along and was able to give me those options and give me websites I could look on. That's the sort of person I wanted and basically that's the sort of person I got. If you want someone who will give you what I've just described Richard is very good. He was able to individually tailor what he was going to fit to what my requirements were.
